June 13, 2019

Currently on the market you can see a huge number of different roofing materials. It is quite difficult for a simple consumer to understand a variety of roofing materials that are produced by different firms. Each of them naturally advertises its product so that it seems that it is really the best. How to figure out all these nuances to find the most suitable option for high -quality roofing material? Moreover, he must meet international quality standards, good design, and be resistant to atmospheric precipitation. Of the whole variety, it is worth highlighting several types of roof that really deserves attention-natural tiles (cement-sand, ceramic), roofing ribs and metal tiles.

Natural tiles are divided into two types. The first type is ceramic, which is produced from different clay formulations with its subsequent firing to obtain a high -quality, durable product. Serves such a material up to a hundred years. The second type is a cement-sandy, which is made from natural high-quality raw materials. Its main components are cement without additives, clean sand, water, dyes. Cement-sand tiles are also aesthetically attractive, as it has a large number of various colors and models. The disadvantages of such material are the large weight of this product and the service life is not more than 50 years, unlike ceramic tiles.

The most common roofing material is currently metal. It consists of sheet material: copper, galvanized or alumo -cycle sheet. An anti -corrosion, paint, primer layers are applied to it.

Composite metal tiles – roofing material that is produced from a stamped steel sheet, with an aluminum coating applied to it. Its appearance imitates natural ceramic tiles consisting of a decorative coating. It is based on mineral granulates.

Scales or roofing tiles are also a good option to cover the roof. There are several options for roofing tiles: crumb coating (more durable material), without coating.

There are also other variants of the roof material, for example, polyvinyl chloride coating, ondulin. Their service life is not more than five years, so such coatings are not suitable for the roof.
