The Bahamas is a symbol of a beach holiday on the islands in the style of “Bounty”. Here are ideal places for diving, given the presence of coral reefs (more than 2000) and a huge barrier reef.
Karst sinkhole
Or the second name – “Dean’s Blue Hole” (Dean is the owner of the land next to which this natural object is located), this is the second deepest hole in the world, a karst sinkhole or depression. It is located near Long Island. The exact depth is 202 meters and this is the world center of freediving, diving here is the dream of any freediver and so far the depth to which a person has been able to dive without fins is 100 meters.
On the surface, the diameter of the neck is from 25 to 35 meters, and then the hole expands like a huge bottle, to a diameter of 100 meters.
At Dean’s Blue Hole, divers can observe a unique natural phenomenon – sand waterfalls that form along its walls when the sea is rough.
