A cruise ship passenger has been attacked by a bluntnose shark in the Bahamas. This was reported on Wednesday, September 7, by the Daily Mail.
The Pennsylvania resident was on a seven-day cruise with her husband, son, and daughter. The shark attacked her while she was snorkeling. The ship’s staff pulled the woman out of the water and took her to the hospital, but she could not be saved.
This happened in a popular tourist spot near Green Cay. According to police, the woman suffered injuries to her upper limbs.
After the incident, authorities decided to close the beach. The circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.
